Common questions
What is an output minute?
One minute of one rendition. A 10-minute video encoded into four renditions costs 40 output minutes.
Do failed jobs count?
No. If a job fails on our side, or you cancel before packaging, nothing is billed.
Can I use my own storage?
Yes. Point outputs at your own S3-compatible bucket and you only pay for encoding.
Is there an annual discount?
Two months free on annual billing for Studio and Scale. Contact us to switch.
What happens at the free limit?
New jobs return 402 quota_exhausted. Existing assets keep serving until the next reset.
Do you offer volume pricing?
Above roughly 100 TB per month, delivery moves to a committed rate. Talk to us.
